Pink Saturday and random pinks!

Good Pink Saturday bloggerettes!  I have to say a huge thank you to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound not only for hosting this week as always but also for allowing me to be a featured blogger!  Thanks so much for all you do Beverly!

I am having a bit of an off-week it seems.  Not only do I not have any spectacular pinks, but my pictures are not too good either.  Ugh!  However, since I love PS so much I thought I would just show you some random pinks.  Thanks for hanging in there!

Remember last month I did a post on cake balls from Bakerella?  I told you all that I was going to make the cupcake bites and I did.  The picture is the last lonely one that was left when I remembered I had to take a picture.  The picture doesn't depict this but they were so cute with pink on top and very yummy which explains why I was lucky to get this sad shot, ha!  I would love to see what you all create!

This week was hubby's birthday and he loves banana so I whipped up some banana cupcakes to celebrate!  While these were yummy as well, I remember to take some pictures BEFORE they were devoured!
But, unfortunately the  pictures did not turn out too well and the cupcakes are lone gone!
I used my pretty pink cake plates to display them and used colorful sprinkles, including pink, to top them off!!
I made the cupcake toppers using card stock and straws!

And lastly, since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month I thought I would show you what my sweet daughter Megan picked up for me while she was at Walmart, with a portion of the proceeds going to research.

Pink bubble wrap!  She knew I would love it to wrap up goodies from my boutique!

Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to visiting you all!

OXOXOX,
Jacalyn

Never seen pink bubble wrap before. Whoever gets the packaged wrapped in that will love it.

Don't worry about the cupcake pictures. It's way more important that whoever ate them enjoyed those. And if they are all gone, that's a good sign. :)

Nice to meet you. I know how it is to want to blog something and have nothing left. I started all of this by compiling a family cookbook with pictures and some step by step pictures of the recipes once we started using digital cameras back in 2000. I was just looking through them and one had half a donut and another had a bite of this or that.

Hey, hey, hey! congratulations on being featured this week! I have been using pink bubble wrap for some time now and my customers have commented on it. Still haven't found the pink envelopes I have been looking for a year for. I saw your earlier post on the cake balls and I made some. I used banana and chocolate and white cream cheese frosting. They weren't very pretty but they sure were a big hit with the gang at the beach. And speaking of beach I was down near Myrtle Beach last week and thought of you. I found this little coffee house that sold specialty coffees. I bought some Banana's Foster. I remember how much you loveeeee coffee. HPS Jacalyn...xoxo
