Pink Saturday and a Halloween Celebrations

Ha!  Did I scare you?  This is a special addition of Pink Saturday.  This week we can celebrate Halloween.  Please visit Beverly at http://www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ to see who is participating this week.  Of course I actually have some pink Halloween items cause, well, who doesn't???!  But as a special treat, I thought I would take you on a special trip.  Are you ready?  There will be candy corn for all!  Let's go!

This is my sister-in-law Jill...
This is Jill's house...  and Jill loves, I mean LOVES Halloween.  She's not even sure why, just simply that she loves Halloween!  Every inch of her outdoor decor, her entryway, her living room and her dining room is covered in Halloween accents.  She told me it takes days to ready the house and she begins at the end of September with her outside.  So come on in and take a peak...

See what I mean!  I wasn't kidding when I said she decorated everywhere!

Let's take a close up look at a couple of her outside exhibits...

 A cute? Little kitty!

Ummm... bloody fingers.... very Halloweenish!

Thanks for the tour Jill!  We appreciate it!

Okay, you have all been very good on our tour so here's your candy corn!
Come on, you can all share!

So here's Jill's tips for decorating on a budget...
~shop the Dollar stores as they have tons of cute little items
~shop the after-Halloween sales.  Jill states that day after sales are usually 50% off but a week later they can be 75 - 90% off!
~store everything neatly in a bin and label for easy access next year.

Wishing you a wonderful, fun-filled Halloween!

Cheers!

Hugs,
Jacalyn

Happy Pink Saturday Halloween Sweetie...
Oh my I wish I lived close to Jill's house, we would definitely be going there. I love it. She is better than most Christmas decorations that we see. Inside and outside. It must take her months to get set up.

Thank you Jill for letting us see your gorgeously decorated home and thank you sweetie for introducing us.

Have a safe and fun Halloween. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

What a fabulous display! We don't really celebrate/decorate for Halloween in the UK (but we're catching on fast...) and this is a brilliant Pink Saturday post.

Spooky PS!

What a wonderfully decorated house. I too love Halloween decorations but don't decorate as much since the kids are grown. Your sis's home is perfect for Halloween entertaining.

Hey hey Jacalyn, what an amazing display and so much fun. Since we live on a farmette, I have always wanted to have a big Halloween party including a scary hay ride. One of these days I am going to do it! Not too long ago I ran across, at a yardsale, a guy selling the perfect hayride wagon but Bobby G. wouldn't buy it. I just don't understand why...do you? :) Happy belated Pink Saturday and Happy Halloween. xo Lynn
P.s. I am always up for a beach trip if you are. We went to Rehoboth Beach last week. Neat place with lots of rainbows!
