Pink Saturday and my new cloche!

Happy Happy Saturday, Pink of course! So I have been admiring cloches for some time now. Those and apothecary jars are my passion presently! I finally found some that I thought were reasonably priced and jumped at the chance to make my purchase at last!!!! Now, what to do with them, ha! Well I looked around to see what I already had because surely I must have something!

I found these pretty pink tapioca wood roses....
and then I found this vintage rose plate that I purchased at an estate sale...

and this is what I came up with...

my pink roses on a bed of shredded music sheets! And here's where it currently resides...

... with my apothecary jars of course, he, he! And when I change my mind I can easily change the jars and cloche! Seasonal perhaps? We will see!
That's my pink for today! Have a wonderful weekend and be sure to visit Beverly to see all of today's PS participants!
OXOXOX,
Jacalyn

Always have a supply of vintage music sheets...

So pretty...roses under glass...and I didn't know for a longtime that you called it a cloche! I've been putting stuff in jars and under glass for years just keep the dust off. I sure do like your new look...very pretty! I bet you cringed to see what was goin' on with my roses! Poor things, they dropped dead on the stem when they saw that chainsaw!

I think what you came up with is a great idea. That is just so pretty. I have one of your lovely bars of soap from the SLS retreat and have it under a small cloche in the bath....very chic too. Happy Pink Saturday, Char

Hello :) I am JUST starting to collect apothcary jars (I have 1), and Cloches (again 1 of those), and I really love them. They're so much fun to create vignettes with, and you can change what you have displayed inside :)

Have a lovely weekend, and Happy Pink Saturday!
Warmest, Brenda

I have been looking for a cloche too, but the ones I have found are kind of pricy. Love what you did with yours.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog to leave a quote. Can you imagine actually using a cloche out in the garden like a mini greenhouse?

Oh how beautiful! I love the music sheets shredded. What a wonderful idea. It's great to be able to get ideas from one another. All you ladies are so creative. Need to find a hotel near Depew and Lancaster for the funeral of my dad. Was looking at Homewood Suites by Buf Airport. Do you have any suggestions where we can stay? Hugs~ Rita
