Laundry Day Pink Saturday

Another wonderful Pink Saturday has arrived!  Please be sure to visit our lovely hostess Beverly to view all of the participants this week!

My contribution this week is a lovely label I made using graphics from the Graphics Fairy.

Ah, I forgot to take a picture of the label on the bottle, oops!  I made this for my pretty little jar that now holds my White Vinegar, aka Fabric Softener.  Did you know that if you put vinegar in your rinse cycle it eliminates the need for any other fabric softener?  Google and various blogs told me so, ha!  I am on an all natural cleaning kick and I just had to try it!  I know what you're thinking:  "my clothes will smell like vinegar, yuck!"  Guess what, that don't!  I promise!  And there's no static cling and vinegar is purposed to whitenen as well.  I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I am thrilled!

Stay tuned because I will be posting my home-made laundry soap in the next few days.  Love, love, love it!

Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!

Hugs,
Jacalyn

Thanks for the tutorial on the picnic. I have been playing, still can't do what you are doing, but I hope to get there one day. It takes time to get the know of what goes and looks well with what. Your label is perfect!!
I also make my own soap, guessing we have the same recipe, I love it also. Back to the basics.
Happy Pink Saturday Jacalyn and have a wonderful Mother's Day too, Char

Cute label! I have, for years, used vinegar in my rinse water when washing clothes. It helps take out any residue and smells that cling to the clothes. I hope you have a beautiful Mother's Day!

I put vinegar on my face and hands....gasp! And the worse sunburn I ever had as a teenager (dummy me) was cured with vinegar. The smell goes away after a few minutes. :) LOL..I am afraid she's not a pink kind of gal but we are using vintage stuff. Her colors are black, cream and ivory. Happy happy Pink Saturday J. xoxo

This is a wonderful tip, Jacalyn! I have a giant bottle of white vinegar I bought at Costco that I haven't been using enough, and now I'm going to try this! It will save $ and I like that it's a natural product.

Happy Pink Happy Mother's Day weekend!

PS You will LOVE Ireland! It is a beautiful country to visit!
