This week I've been out-of-sorts. I had dental surgery on Friday and was promised that it was a simple procedure, no problem. Can I just say NOT! Half my face is still swollen and it still hurts, jeez! So needless to say, I haven't done too much, particularly over the long weekend. So what's a girl to do when she's swollen and in pain? Why surf the net of course! I found the most awesome blog! Please forgive me if you all have discovered this and I am the last person on earth to know, ha! The blog is called Bakerella and the author is simply fabulous! Her signature items seems to be mini desserts like these, and these, and these. But she has some other fabulous recipes too! She has even recently published a book "Cake Pops" which you can find here.
I've drooled over her website for days now and I just have to try to make something! I think my favorite just has to be her recipe for cupcake bites! Now you all know by now how much I love cupcakes, real and faux, so this should not be too surprising! They just look so yummy and seem fairly easy to make. Soooo this weekend I think I will give them a try. I'll let you know how it goes!
Take a look at her site and let me know what you think.
Have a wonderful week!
Hugs,
Jacalyn

Sorry that your dental problem did not go has planned. Sometime the pain and swelling lingers fora few days. My daughter-in-law had the same problem. Hope you'll soon be feeling better.. You did indeed come across a wonderful sit and I am going to check it our again.
I loathe going to the dentist and there is nothing worse then having any sort of pain associated with your mouth and/or teeth. I hope you start healing. I'll take a moment and go check out the cool blog you discovered.

Oh Good Morning Sweetie...
Number one rule, never believe the dentist, they lie. They cannot tell you if something is going to hurt or not because we all have different levels of pain. I hate it when we are all grouped and they say it won't hurt. (I bet that is the last time you will believe them.)
Now this blog sounds scrumptous, and no I have not heard of it, so I will be popping over to check it out. Yep, I too love sweets and I have to ask you is there anyone out there that doesn't love cupcakes? Yummy.
Have a peaceful day sweetie and I hope you get to feeling better soon. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
I agree with Sherry...when the dentists and all the chair assts. gang up on you just lay back and hope for the best!!!
I've had this split between my teeth for all of 55 years and every time I go to the dentist he says 'when are you going to let me take care of that split'...
maybe when i'm @ the undertaker's!!!
Yes...I've been to the Bakerella site...she does yummy STUFF :D

Hi Jacalyn,
Oh I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling down from your dental work. I can relate as a few years ago I had oral surgery and it was not fun at all.
What a wonderful site you describe. I am going over to visit next.
Thank you for stopping by. I just started a giveaway today if you'd like to enter.
Have a great evening and feel better soon sweetie.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
