It is sooo cold here in Western New York~ only in the 30's all week long which is below average! Yuk! Yuk! Yuk! I am just waiting until my triplets get through college (they're seniors in high school) until my husband and I head for warmer climates! We've been to South Carolina several times and want to check out North Carolina too. If anyone lives there let me know whats good and maybe not so good!

Well I must say the weather does add to my holiday spirit so that's one good thing I guess!

I hope everyone has a good start on that Holiday Shopping! I do know with the economy the way it is there are some awesome deals out there!

Living in Western New York can be a little difficult for many reasons, but definitely for your skin! As the weather is becoming cooler here I noticed my skin was getting rather itchy! I do use (okay, get ready, shameless plug coming) my awesome sugar scrub but I was in the mood for something different! So, I created an amazing Foaming Sugar Scrub Body Cleanser. This is one amazing cleanser! First, I started by whipping up (literally) the cleanser which is the consistency of whipped cream - light, airy and oh so smooth and creamy! Next I added sugar for exfoliation and finally I added Sweet Almond Oil to moisturize. Oh what a delight to bathe! One easy step to cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize! I'm in love!

Lots of new items!

I know, it has been so long since I've posted an entry. Where does the time go? Since our return from vacation, it has been so busy. The Triplets are back in school for their Senior year! Yikes! So it's been all about Senior Portraits, Homecoming, and Colleges!

I've finally had time to work on my website. I've added some great new Fall-Time Goodies!

Fall is really one of my favorite seasons! So I love to decorate. I added a Fall category so check out all of the great items!

I have gone a little "crazy" adding categories! I have added a vintage find category which features items that are of course vintage. But, some of these items I have embellished to create shabby and romantic looks!

I adore these vintage bottles. It was great fun embellishing them with vintage items and rose potpourri. The one on the left, with the vintage key, is one I made for myself. I just LOVE it! There is a similar one listed on my site too.

I have also added an Oh so Shabby Boutique, because frankly, I love these items and I am hoping that you do too!

FREE STUFF!!!!!

Can you believe that it's August already????? Where is the summer going? I don't want to rush the summer but I am very excited because at the end of the month we are going to the beach! I absolutely LOVE the beach. Being a fair-skinned Irish girl, I don't lay out much but I just love swimming in the ocean and sitting on the balcony simply enjoying the ambiance of the beach. Total relaxation! Plus, I can usually finish a book in a few days rather than a few weeks that it takes when I am home, LOL!

Great New Soap!

I have been sick that last few days. Go figure... beautiful warm and sunny days and I'm stuck in the house feeling lousy! So what do I do? I craft of course! I wasn't feeling so lousy that I couldn't create so that's what I did! I am sooo happy to announce that we have changed our soap base! Our new soap base is a Coconut Oil Base with added Goat Milk so it is rich and creamy! It leaves your skin feeling cleansed, soft and moisturized. I absolutely adore this soap! I played around with additives too and found some great ones! I used blueberry seeds, rose petals, peppermint leaves, and oatmeal. It was really a lot of fun. Plus, I decided I wanted prettier packaging and I played around with that too! Check out the photo. Hopefully, you'll agree they did indeed turn out very pretty. I got a little carried away in my when I started feeling better so I decided to have a sale - yippee for you :) Check out my website at http://www.rmebathproducts.com/ for more information! Summertime!

I LOVE summer! It is my favorite time of the year. The warm temperatures, wearing shorts and sandals, grilling... you get the picture! If you're like me then Summer time evokes certain scents, yummy (or perhaps it is the other way around)! Think Coconut & Lime, Pina Colada (one of my favs, drinks that is! LOL!), Coconut, or Honey Dew Melon. All of these evoke the lazy days of summer (I wish!) or long days at the ocean. Check out our new category "Summer Scentsations" and you too can dream of being on the beach, enjoying your favorite cocktail while the warm breeze blows and the salt air fills your lungs! Hello and welcome to my blog! This is my first entry and I am soooo excited!!!!! Let me introduce myself to those of you who don't yet know me. My name is Jacalyn and I own a small Bath & Body Company called RME Bath & Body Shop. What started out as my passion for bath & body products has blossomed into my other passions: PINK, shabby, romantic, and vintage! Please stop by my website and browse @ www.rmebathproducts.com. I also work part-time as a Clinical Social Worker in my own private practice. I LOVE my job in that I feel like I am helping others attain their goals and feel better. That's part of the reason I started my bath and body business too. As I've said, I love bath & body products because they help me feel nurtured and relaxed. I wanted to created products to include those purposes but at prices that most everyone can afford!
